Paramaribo, Suriname

Tim is currently on an accreditation visit to an ACSI school in Suriname. Suriname is a very small country, with a total population of approximately 570,000. The official language is Dutch.
A few pictures from the city of Paramaribo and from the school.....

Snow cone stand (It was hard to fathom Tim eating a snow cone in 90 degree weather while back in Colorado we were sitting in a deep freeze!)

Yum.

Old Dutch houses. Very cool!

The largest wooden cathedral in the world.

A dessert pancake with brown sugar and chocolate sauce. :)

Signage at school. Good advice!
