Lantern Festival

We missed Thailand's annual lantern festival by one day! It happened the day after we left. However, during the week we were there, people were already starting to launch them and we would see them in the night sky. We even got to launch one of our own! Decorations were put up at our hotel and other places, and lanterns were for sale at the street markets.
