Snow Day!

We braved the weather yesterday and went out on a walk. Even though it was frigid, it was wonderful to see families sledding down the hill by our house or behind a pick-up, and cross-country skiing. Snowfall totals at our house - 9 inches.

A visit from Tyler and Jennifer

We were delighted that Tyler and Jennifer stopped by our home for three days on their way to their new home in CA. We hadn't seen them in over a year, so it was a real treat to see them.
Tyler just finished his ATC training and told us about some of what he has been studying. It was fascinating! He just finished 4 months of intense training which ended with two days of grueling exams. So proud of you, Tyler!

 We finally got to meet Pancake (who happens to love crawling in cardboard boxes)!

I went to Garden of the Gods early this morning to catch the sunrise. What a peaceful place at that hour! The deer were awaking the dawn with me.
