Monsoon Season

This is monsoon season in Colorado Springs. It typically starts in the middle of July and lasts through the end of August. Last week a monsoon rolled through and dropped a lot of rain in a short amount of time. Our streets were flooded but thankfully not our basement!

Lunch at Isaly's

We are in Ohio visiting family for the July 4th week-end. Today we had lunch at Isaly's, a local diner that serves The Shuman Burger. Named in honor of Tim's brother who likes a hamburger served on toasted bread instead of a bun! It's better than a bun, really, because it is not so much bread. I think we just might have started a new tradition at our house!
