Our ministry at the orphanage - Part II

Our team was able to take 7 duffel bags/suitcases worth of supplies and gifts to the school and the orphanage where we ministered. One of the items we took to give at both locations was board games such as Memory, Trouble, and Tri Ominos. The kids and Kenyan staff loved learning to play them with us! Here, the orphanage's pre-school and early elementary teacher is learning to play Memory. She will no doubt use this game and others as well in her classroom.

Through donations from two Foundations I was able to purchase new clothes for every child in the orphanage. They were thrilled to receive their new outfits, especially the girls (ages 6-14). We presented them with their gifts on Wednesday, and on Thursday morning when we drove up to the orphanage they were wearing their new clothes!

New clothes for the five babies at the orphanage - 3 boys and two girls. Here is a picture of the two adorable girls, Faith and Ruth.
