Just a few more memories from Kenya

Sunday afternoon walk at a wild game park

We were able to purchase this load of stones along with some cement with Kenya missions trip funds to help the orphanage build the addition to their little school.

Our team had the opportunity to interact with an African youth group.

The Africans teaching us how to move a little!

Heading to the orphanage for another day of ministry

Mid morning chai time with mandazis (African doughnuts)

Shortly after this was taken, Tyler fell into the pond when another team member tried to come on the board with him!

Lots of journaling took place during our time in Kenya.

My friend Jeannette, a BFA alumna and flight attendant with KLM, arranged to work on our flight from Nairobi to Amsterdam so that she could meet our team. She treated me royally - she pampered me in Business class where she was on duty. Amazing! She also brought treats for our team! Thank-you, Jeannette!
