On Christmas Day in the evening the rain stopped, and we went to Rockefeller Center to see the tree (along with a million other people). We survived (but barely).

Eating roasted chestnuts (an annual tradition in Germany)........

......while we did a Christmas Day night stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge.
