June Wild Flowers

The yucca plants are almost finished blooming here in Colorado Springs, and now the cactuses are taking their turn. I was reminded while hiking this afternoon that God's beauty is constantly around me no matter what season it is, and it keeps changing as the weeks go by. What if tulips and lilacs and roses all bloomed at the same time? Of course that would be an amazing sight, but instead The Master Artist displays His work in stages, like a canvas that He is constantly "painting". And so now, among other seasonal wild flowers dotting the landscape, we get to enjoy beautiful flowering cactuses.

I wanted to post this picture because it shows the workmanship of an amazing Creator - the three different stages of a cactus blooming.

This is not a cactus but is some other wild flower species.

Even dandelions are beautiful!
