Senior Trip to Rome

Tim and I just returned yesterday morning from accompanying 79 grade 12 students on their senior trip to Rome. We went along as chaperones. We rode on two large buses and covered a total of almost 3,000 kms! We visited Florence, Rome and Venice, spending the majority of the time in or near to Rome. We stayed on the beach(Mediterranean) in a youth hostel-style hotel.
We had an amazing week! What an incredible group of students - including Tyler! We are so proud of them and love them dearly!
Below is a rather large collage of memories from the week. The first section shows the students - definitely the best part of the trip! The section section shows the cities we visited.

Tug-of-war on the beach!

"Helm's Deep"(Lord of the Rings) under construction!

Class photo taken on the beach before going out for a dress-up dinner in Rome.

Kurt thought we needed a "family" picture at the coliseum, so he was playing Luke and was trying to get Tyler to be part of the picture!
