Sunday afternoon bikeride!

This afternoon we enjoyed some challenging mountain biking just 6 miles from our house. We also soaked up the beautiful fall colors - they won't last too much longer, I'm afraid. Some trees have already shed all of their leaves.

Catamount Falls

Another beautiful fall day - highs in the 70's. We headed out early and hiked some rugged trails to Catamount Falls. It was great to see some wildlife. We were glad we didn't see mountain lions which signs were warning us to be on the look-out for!

First Taste of Winter

Yesterday we woke up to a very cold and cloudy morning! Today the skies cleared and revealed a dusting of snow on Pike's Peak. Tomorrow will be much warmer, so winter is on hold for now!
