LeTourneau University Part I

Tyler and I are in Longview, TX, getting him set up at LeTourneau University. We arrived on Sunday for International Student Orientation.

Most of the guys on Tyler's floor build these massive lofts in their rooms because the rooms have very high ceilings that allow for this. Tyler and Co. will probably build his loft tonight. Once built, the beds go up in the loft. If you have claustrophobic issues, this isn't for you!

Tyler turns 19!

Yesterday was Tyler's 19th Birthday! The day was rather uneventful, but we still had a fun time! Happy Birthday, Tyler!
He is off to college tomorrow! How can this be?!




This morning I had to buy several pillows to fill up suitcases (and because we needed them). I took this picture of Tyler in Target. He is testing a pillow for comfort to make sure its the right one for college!

A Sunday drive through Amish country

Today we went on a long drive through Amish country near Burton, Ohio. Here is a glimpse of what we saw.
