Narnia(except for the sheep!)

I went for a walk in the fog yesterday and it was spectacular! It reminded me of winter in Narnia(except for the sheep). I should have included a picture of a wardrobe!

Some more talent from our students and staff

Here is some artwork that is currently on display at BFA's Art Show. Both students and staff have work that is being shown. The gallery is well worth visiting!

Tim was asked to submit some of his work. This leaves drawing is one of them. When Tim did this pen and ink drawing he hid all of our family's names within the picture.

Our school has so much amazing talent! We were able to enjoy a taste of it yesterday at BFA's annual Christmas concert. Many thanks to our musicians and teachers who invested a lot of hours to make the concert a great success.

Home for Christmas!

We are thrilled to have Luke home for the holidays! KD was extremely excited to see him, too!
Luke arrived this afternoon, tired but happy! We look forward to having him with us for three weeks.

Happy Birthday, Jonathan!

Today Jonathan Bryan (Tim's grand nephew) celebrated his first Birthday, and we were invited to the party!

BFA Missions Trip to Kenya

Every year during spring break BFA sends out staff and students on missions trips to different countries. This coming Easter we have 6 teams going. I am helping to lead the Kenya team which consists of 19 students and 4 staff. I am so excited about the people that I get to work with! They are an awesome group!

Hot chocolate and Christmas cookies

Last night we enjoyed having girls from Storchenblick over to our house for hot chocolate and Christmas treats. They enjoyed "escaping" the dorm (and playing with our dog!). They couldn't stay too long because they had to go back to the dorm for study hours - we'll try to get them again when they can spend the whole evening - maybe a movie night after Christmas break!
