Tonight was the last time for small groups to meet this school year. We had my girls over for a BBQ and then we watched a movie together.
Katey and Olivia(the two on the left) are going back to the States next year. We will sure miss them! We have had an awesome year getting to know each other and growing together.

My small group will meet just one more time this week before summer vacation! Its hard to believe that this school year is almost over! Graduation is only 10 days away!
Here's a picture of two familiar faces playing Apples to Apples with another small group.
Celebrating Katey's(the blonde) 16th Birthday!
This bush in our yard is loaded with flowers! Gorgeous! God did it and gives it to us to enjoy!

Power Plant Field Trip
Today I, Tim, got to go with the chemistry class on a field trip to a nearby nuclear power plant in Switzerland. It was awesome!! This is a picture of the visitor center with the cooling tower in the background.
Highlights included going into the cooling tower and actually entering the "core" and being able to see the dome of the reactor.
Here I am with some of the BFA guys just prior to entering the core. We had to completely change clothes, right down to socks, shoes and yes, skivvies, and put on these funny outfits so our own clothes didn't get contaminated. We also had to carry small meters to monitor the radiation levels we were exposed to. The whole experience is actually quite serious and intimidating. I'm sure none of us will ever forget this day. Very few people in the world get to see what we did.
The nuclear power plant is an amazing example of man's creative genius tapping into God's power found in nature.

Jr/Sr Banquet
Tonight is our annual Jr/Sr banquet at BFA. This is one of the highlights of the year and a very special and memorable evening for the students. The Junior class hosts the evening as a way to honor the Senior class. Below are a collage of pictures taken before the evening program began.
