Luke is a Freshman in College!
Luke is a Freshman at Taylor University in Upland, IN. He is planning to major in Graphic Design and New Media. Taylor was founded in 1846 so it is over 150 years old!
Taylor University was recently listed as the Top Baccalaureate College in the Midwest in the August 27, 2007 edition of U.S. News and World Report!
Peope joke that Taylor is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by cornfields. This is quite true! The beautiful campus is located in the small town of Upland in between Indianapolis and Ft. Wayne.
I was able to be with Luke for a week at Taylor to attend an MK New Student Orientation(Aug 19-23) and part of a Freshman Orientation(Aug 24-27). The MK orientation did an incredible job of helping to prepare Luke for life at Taylor. It was also very helpful in putting my heart at rest, knowing that Luke is at a fantastic Christian college with an amazing community of caring and committed faculty and students.
